RECOVER has learned a lot about how Long COVID looks in adults and pregnant women. RECOVER published an important paper on the common symptoms some adults with Long COVID may feel. Since then, we've published an update to that research, plus even more papers on what we've found in this cohort. This is just the start – we’re learning more every day!

What’s Next – The Second Phase of the Adult Study

In the second phase, a smaller group of adults, including pregnant women, will continue in the study so we can better understand:

  • How Long COVID affects the brain (thinking and memory), heart, and lungs.
  • Whether Long COVID can make someone’s chronic (long-term) illnesses worse, or bring on new ones.

Who can continue into the second phase of RECOVER?
