Welcome to the RECOVER study for adults! By being in the study, you’re helping us find answers to better prevent and treat Long COVID in the future. This page will tell you more about what to expect while you are in the study.
About This Study
Adults of all ages, races, and ethnicities from across the U.S. have joined RECOVER to find answers to questions about Long COVID, including:
- Why do some people get Long COVID and others don’t?
- What symptoms do people feel when they get Long COVID and how long do they feel sick?

Study Timeline
You’ll be in the study for up to 4 years. During the study, you’ll answer online surveys every 3 months and will have a study visit about one time each year.
